Mrs. Phyllis Wiseman, 82, wife of the late William Wiseman, of New Bandon, passed away on Thursday (April 7, 2005) at the Mount St. Joseph's Nursing Home, Miramichi, after a brief illness. Born in New Bandon, she was the daughter of the late Orval and Mary (Dempsey) Dempsey. She was pre-deceased by her husband, William, in 1993. She is survived by: Three sons: Keith Wiseman (Myra) of Stonehaven, Garnet Wiseman (Catherine) of Moncton, Rev. Ross Wiseman (Joanne) of Miramichi Two daughters: Opal Ellis (George) of Janeville, Cheryl Murphy (Gordon) of Bathurst One brother: Benson Dempsey of Bathurst One sister: Bernetta Trenholm of Oshawa, ON Eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The body will rest after 2 p.m. Saturday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday (April 10, 2005) at 2:00 p.m. from Central United Church, Clifton. Burial will be in the Stonehaven Cemetery. Visiting hours are Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
