Robertville – Mrs. Rita Comeau (nee LeBlanc), wife of the late Adelard Comeau of Robertville, passed away on Monday November 13, 2017, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 98.

Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lucie (Duguay) White.

She is survived by nine children:  Patricia Hachey (Lionel), Arnolda Barnhill (Byron), Henry (late Constance) and Maurice (Marion) all of Bathurst, Martin (Marie) and Donald (Solange) both of Beresford, Murielle Comeau (Henri Doiron) of North Tetagouche, Bernadine Comeau (Jean-Eudes Vienneau) and Gilles (Gabrielle) both of Robertville.

29 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren.

Three sisters:  Irène Berthelot of Bathurst, Mildred Shwaluk and Elva Corcoran both of Hamilton, Ont.

One brother, Armand White of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a three sons: Réginald, Gérald, Clifford; two grandchildren: Carol and Noël; six brothers: Delphis, Norman, Kenneth, Edmond, Harold and Réginald; four sisters: Bertha, Kathleen, Malvina and Jeannette.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday December 1, 2017 at 4 p.m. from Sainte-Thérèse-d’Avila Church in Robertville.  

Donations in memory of Rita may be made to the Villa Sormany or a charity of the donors choice.
