The family of Lynne Melanson of Bathurst, sorrowfully announces her sudden passing on Thursday, November 23, 2017, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 52.

Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of Gerald and Adrienne (Haché) Melanson of Bathurst.

She was a beloved teacher at Bathurst High School.  She was an avid shopper and beautiful artist. Every project she undertook had that special "Lynne touch". 

She had a beautiful soul and will be sadly missed by her parents and her sister, Sylvie Melanson-Caissie (Rolland) of Moncton and her brother, Alain Melanson (Jacqueline) of Tracadie.

Three nieces: Monica (Jeff), Isabelle and Geneviève and two grand-nephews: Samuel and Olivier.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton Funeral Home, St. George St., Bathurst on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon, November 28, 2017 at 4:30 pm from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave, Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Lynne may be made to the BHS Breakfast Program or a charity of choice.
