Bathurst - John 'Jack' O'Neill, 77, of O'Neil Dr., Bathurst, died Monday (April 18, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Belledune, he was the son of the late John James and Florence (Culligan) O'Neill.
He worked as a Salesman in Northern New Brunswick for over 30 years. Founding member of the U.C.T. Council #827, Bathurst, he was also a member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst, Cansurmount, Gowan Brae Golf and Country Club, the Bathurst Curling Club, a former coordinator for Bathurst Minor Hockey Association and was involved with the Literacy Council.

The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon (April 21, 2005) at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, Bathurst.
