Bathurst - Violet Nora Sullivan, 80, of King Ave., Bathurst, passed away peacefully at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, on Tuesday March 13, 2018.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth "Nita" (Hopper) Sullivan.

She is survived by one sister, Della Gallant (late Robert) of Winnipeg, Man..

Two brothers: Austin Sullivan (late Alice) of Bathurst and Harry Sullivan (Rowena) of Janeville.

Two grandchildren: Robert and Jeremie (Lynn) Gallagher and two great-grandchildren: Kelsey and Jayden.

She leaves behind many nieces and nephews that she was very fond of.

She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Ruby Ann; two sisters: Dymple, Marie and three brothers: Gordon, Howard and Ira.

Violet loved to bake and did so to give away to many people.  She was a very quiet and kind person.

The family will receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday March 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Violet may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. 

The family would like to thank the staff of Southern Comfort and Dr. Anne LeBouthillier for the kindness they gave to Violet.  She loved them all.
