Eric Burke, 84, formerly of Middle River, passed away on Wednesday March 14, 2018 at the Villa Sormany in Robertville.

Born in Robertville, he was the son of the late William and Dorina (Haché) Burke.

Eric was a retired Sales person from Lounsbury's.

Besides his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" (Henry) Burke, he is survived by seven children: Carol Poitras (Eugene), Dan (Jocelyne Roy), Shirley Burke all of Bathurst, Bob (Denise LeBlanc) of Emyvale, PEI, Gary (Holly) of Charlottetown, PEI, David (Lise Lanteigne) of Middle River and Peter (Jocelyne) of Riverview, NB.

10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Two sisters: Eugenie "Nin" Doucet and Gabrielle Vienneau, both of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com),Bathurst.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning March 17, 2018, at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst.
