Bathurst – Mrs. Rose Brideau, wife of the late Aurèle Brideau, of Picot Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Thursday March 29, 2018, at the age of 91, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Tracadie, she was the daughter of the late Méderic and Léonie (Robichaud) Brideau.

She is survived by a daughter, Colette Van Buskirk of Bathurst.

Two grandchildren: Robin and Stacey Van Buskirk (Matthew Robichaud).  Two great-grandchildren: Colin and Lily.

One sister Lumina Poulin of Bathurst.

She was predeceased by her brothers: Hilaire, Pierre, Venance, sisters: Anita and Cordélia.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst on Thursday April 5, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 12 noon until time of Funeral.  

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 2 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Rose may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital or a favorite charity.
