Darrell Doucet of Petit-Rocher, passed away suddenly on Route 11, near Madran, on Wednesday, April 25th, 2018 at the age of 60.
Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of the late Simon and Eunice (Furlotte) Doucet.
He is survived by one son Ryan of Petit-Rocher.
One brother, Donald of Chester Basin, N.S.
Three sisters: Sheila Peters (late Garret) of Fort Erie, Ont., Leona Dempsey (late Fred) «junior» and Gloria Peters (late Hanks) both of St. Catherine’s, Ont.
His life partner Marie Rose Legacy of Bathurst.
The mother of his son Ginette Parker (Achille Roy) of Nigadoo and the Parker family.
The last surviving uncle, Eugene (Leona) Furlotte.
Many nieces, nephews and friends.
Darrell worked as a computer technician. He was a member of Lodge St. John, #27, F & AM of the Masonic order Bathurst.
The family will receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford. Visiting hours are Tuesday, May 1st from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 2 pm until time of funeral. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 2nd at 4 p.m. from St-Polycarpe Church, Petit-Rocher.
Donations in memory of Darrell may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
