Mr. Ronald Doucet, husband of Desneiges (Poirier) Doucet of Bathurst, passed away Tuesday, June 12th, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, with his family by his side, following a long battle with illness.
Born in Petit-Rocher he was the son of the late Norman L. and Bertilde (Arseneau) Doucet.
Besides his wife Desneiges, he is survived by four children: Jacques (Fernande), Claude (Josie), Nicole (Claude) and Linda (Diane) all of Bathurst.
Two grandchildren: Eric (Kirsten) and Josée-Anne (Kim).
Three great-grandchildren: Damien, Isaac, and Ava-Lynn.
Three brothers: Jean-Guy (Clara) and Maurice (Blanche) both of Bathurst and Michel (Fleurette) of Moncton.
Four sisters: Claudette (Jimmy) of Moncton, Zita (Donald) of Ste-Rosette, Gisèle (Gerry) of Nackawic and Muriel (Gilles) both of Beresford.
Two sisters-in-law: Rita and Adélia; one brother-in-law, Roger.
He also leaves behind his favorite dog, Naki.
He was predeceased by one sister, Pierrette and one brother, Alvin.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service for the late Ronald Doucet will be held Monday, June 18th at 2 pm from the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St. (www.elhatton.com)
