Bathurst - Mrs. Mary Power, 80, of the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home Miramichi and formerly of East Bathurst, wife of the late Alley Power, passed away on Tuesday (May 3, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Melvina (Bertin) Roy. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Alloyious 'Alley' Power in 1992. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by: Five daughters: Rita Endean (Jim) of Acton, ON Agnes Theriault (Leonard) of Oromocto, NB Shirley Walsh (Allan) Prisicilla Vienneau and Jean Boucher, all of Bathurst 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, Anthony, two grandchildren; Joey and Danny. She will be sadly missed and forever remembered in our hearts. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning (May 5, 2005) at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bathurst.
