Donald Smith, 66, of Bathurst, passed away on Friday (May 6, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Upham, NB, he was the son of the late Sterling and Erma (Reid) Smith.
He was an Electrical Engineer at Brunswick Smelting for over 30 years. He was a member of Saint George's Anglican Church, Bathurst, Past President of A.P.E.G.N.B., member of several Associations including the NB Environment Council, Belledune Home and School Association.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Sara Smith of Bathurst
Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by two daughters; Heather & Cheryl and a sister; Betty.
The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday afternoon (May 10, 2005) at 2:00 p.m. from Saint George's Anglican Church, King Ave., Bathurst. A commital service will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. from the St. Peter's Church Cemetery, Upham, NB.
Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Parkinson Foundation or a favorite charity.
