North Tetagouche - Kenneth Joseph Bernier, 44, of North Tetagouche, passed away on Friday (May 6, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Philippe and Alice (Roy) Bernier.
Besides his parents of Bathurst, he is survived by his wife, the former Gail Stever.

He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and his beloved Fluffy.
He was pre-deceased by his God-daughter, Andrea Louise Clowater in March of this year.
He was a graduate of Bathurst High School and New Brunswick Community College in Bathurst. Kenneth worked at the Chaleur Regional Hospital as a Power Engineer. He attended Holy Family Church, member and former executive of the Chaleur Ground Search and Rescue and loved Geocaching all over the Maritimes. He was known as 'Casper KB'. His favorite pastimes were camping, playing cards, spending time at the beach and discovering new things on his computer.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning (May 11, 2005) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst, with a reception to follow. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, Bathurst. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst.
