Bathurst - Ligouri Roy of Neil Dr., Bathurst, passed away suddenly on Friday September 28, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 84.

Born in Dunlop, he was the son of the late James "Jack" and Roseanna (Cormier) Roy.

He was retired technician from the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.  He was a Past Grand Night of the Msgr. Wheton Assembly of the Knights of Columbus 0605, Bathurst.

Besides his wife, Hélène (Haché) Roy, he is survived by three children:  Denis (Connie) of Fredericton, Lise Roy of Dieppe and Jacques of Bathurst.

Two grandchildren: Braeden and Kelsey.

One brother, Réginald Roy (Martha) of Cornwall, Ont.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by three sisters: Eulalie, Clarisse, Cécile and four brothers: Hermyl, Delphé, Adrian and Gérard.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst, on Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. only.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday October 2,2018 at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst.
