It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Lawrence Doucet, husband of the late Arlene (McLellan) Doucet, which occurred Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 84.
Born in Bathurst he was the son of the late Alfred and Agnes (Montague) Doucet.
He is survived by one brother Donald (Murielle) of Beresford and two sisters: Doris (late Éric Pitre) of Beresford and Della Lynch (late Bill) of Bathurst as well as several nieces and nephews.
Lawrence was pre-deceased by six brothers: Joseph, William (Bill), Leonard, Gilbert, Normand and Louis and two sisters: Stella and Rita.
The family will receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. on Monday, January 7th, 2019 at Heritage Funeral Home, Beresford where a prayer service will be held at 4 p.m.
Donations in memory of Lawrence can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
