Bathurst ? Cynthia “Cindy” Cheryl Ronalds, 46, of Woodland Dr., Bathurst, died unexpectedly on Tuesday (May 31, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst on July 1st 1958, she was the daughter of Rauleigh and Joanna (Morrison) Ronalds.
She was a former laboratory technician for Noranda Exploration.
Besides her parents of Bathurst, she is survived by:
Her son, Connor Fontaine at home; one brother, Floyd Ronalds (Carole) of Bathurst; one sister, Audrey Gay Gammon (Ian) of Bathurst; father of her son, Jean-Francois Fontaine of Bathurst; three nephews, Haidyn, Jordan, and Christian Lafrenière; one niece, Erin, many aunts, uncles and friends.
Although Cindy came from a small family, many more people in the community are losing what they have come to consider a family member of their own. Her love of life and all of the special friends in it gave her a well-secured place in everyone's hearts. Her ability to form a genuine smile even on the worst days set her a step above the rest. The small, close-knit family on the hill, from her quiet little neighborhood will perhaps miss her the most, for they are losing a sister, a mother, a daughter and a best friend all at once. She will leave a void in everyone's life that will not soon be filled. But, although the lord took her home, he left her spirit behind; it will live with us forever?
The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday (June 3, 2005) at 4:00 p.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel with Father Wesley Wade officiating. Burial will be in the Highland View Cemetery, Bridge St. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation or the Multiple Sclerosis society.
