Harper D. Vance - 95, of Riverside Drive, Bathurst, died Friday, June 24, 2005 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, following a short illness.
Born in South Tetagouche, he was the son of the late Howie and Clara (Good) Vance.
He had worked at C. Smith & Sons Ltd until his retirement.
He was a valued member of St. George's Anglican Church all of his life.
His beloved wife, the former Pearl Doull died in 1980.
Harper was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He is survived by: several nieces and nephews, sister-in-law; Evelyn Vance.
He was predeceased by: Brothers; Kenneth and Gordon. Sister; Eunice Jagoe.
Visitation was held Sunday, June 26 2005 at the Elhatton Funeral Home. Funeral service was held from St. George's Anglican Church on Monday, June 27 2005, Rev. Roderick Black officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery on St. Anne St.
