Mrs. Melvina Christie, 86, wife of the late Richard Christie, formerly of Smith Dr., Bathurst, which occurred Monday (June 27, 2005) at Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of late Israel and Josephine Daigle (Pitre) Her husband Richard Christie died in 2002. She is survived by: One daughter; Phyllis Christie of Bathurst. She is last surviving member of her family. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday (July 1st 2005) at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave. Burial will be in parish cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst.
