Bathurst - Normand A. Roy, 87, of James St., Bathurst, died Sunday (July 3, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Robertville, he was the son of the late Adelard and Christianne (Daigle) Roy.
He served in Canada during World War II with the Royal Canadian Army. He was a Superintendent for the former Connolly Contruction in Bathurst. He was a 3rd degree and 4th degree member of the Chevalier de Colombs de Beresford.

He was pre-deceased by a son, Victorin; brothers Emery, Livain and a sister Régina.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon (July 5, 2005) at 4:00 p.m. from Holy Rosary Church (Eglise Notre Dame du Rosaire), Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.
