Bathurst - Mrs. Marie Christina Boucher, 87, wife of Gerald Boucher, passed away on Thursday (July 14, 2005) at her residence after a lengthy illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Lagacé) Doucet. Besides her husband, she is survived by: Two sisters: Hectorine Lavigne of Bathurst Ethel Chiasson of Minto, NB Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Pauline Boucher; sisters, Anastasia Boucher, Roseanna Boucher, Elizabeth St. Pierre, Catherine Roy, Dora Doucet, Lina Boucher, Martina Doucet; brothers, Patrick and James. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday afternoon (July 18, 2005) at 2:00 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel with Father Edmond Chamberlain officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, Bathurst. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst.
