Rough Waters - Mrs. Geraldine Boucher, 78, of Rough Waters and formerly of South Bathurst, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday July 24, 2005.
Born in Bathurst, daughter of ate Paul and Eva (Lanteigne) DeSilva.
She will be sadly missed by her five children:
One son: Mélas Boucher of Rough Waters.
Four daughters:
Helen May Ross (André),
Eva Forbes (Don),
Marie-Claire Doctor (Charles),
Monique Arseneault (Florian) all of Bathurst.
Six grandchildren: Elizabeth, Robert, Paul, Diane, Sophie and Maryse.
Three sisters:
Sr. Clare DeSilva; Sisters of the Good Shepard, Halifax, NS,
Mona DeSilva of Bathurst,
Violet (David) Boucher of Rough Waters.
She was predeceased by the father of her children, Aurele in 1990, a son Paul in 1980 and three brothers; Omer, Earl and Eloi.
The body is will rest after 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning (July 28, 2005) at 11:00 a.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, East Bathurst. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 7 to 9, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. till time of Funeral.
