Clinton Laffoley, 77, of Packard St., Bathurst, passed away on Friday (August 5, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Peters River, he was the son of the late Henry and Cécile (Chiasson) Laffoley. He was a former welder for SMI. He was a devoted father, grandfather, uncle and brother who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Leona (White) Laffoley in 1979. He is survived by: One daughter: Nancy Aubé (Chris) of Bathurst One son: Donald Laffoley (Barbara) of Bathurst Two brothers: Oswald Laffoley (Laura) of Bathurst Harold Laffoley (Rita) of Sudbury, ON One sister: Florence Godin (late René) of Montreal, Que. Four grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Crystal and Alex. Many nieces, nephews and his special companion, Priscilla. At his request, there will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning (August 9, 2005) at 11:00 a.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst. Burial will be in the St. Mary`s Cemetery, St. Mary`s Ave., Bathurst.
