Toby Bottiglia, 39, of McAllen, Texas, and formerly of Bathurst, died accidentally and entered into an eternal rest and peace on Tuesday (August 9, 2005) at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas.
Born in Montreal, she was the daughter of Alban and Viola (McNeill) Daley.
Toby graduated from BHS in 1984 and moved to Ottawa where she got her nursing degree. She and her husband and children then moved to McAllen, Texas in 1996, where she continued her nursing career. She worked at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance as Director of Quality Assurance, Risk Management and Compliance. She took pride in her work and was very dedicated and committed to providing the best hospital for the community. She was highly respected by the employees, physicians and owners of the hospital and will be missed tremendously.
Her joys in her life were of course her children, cooking Italian foods, Bonko nights with the girls, sewing and shopping.
Toby was pre-deceased by a daughter, Angela Bottiglia, in 1991.

The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday morning (August 16, 2005) at 11:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel, with Father William Arseneault officiating. Burial will be in Ottawa at a later date. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate a donation to a fund to set up in the names of her children. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday at the Chapel from 10:00 a.m. till time of service.
