J. Ronald Kenny, 62, of Riverside Dr., Bathurst, died Saturday (20 August, 2005) at the Regional Hospital Center, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Anita (Hadley) Kenny and the late James B. Kenny. He worked for 24 years at Brunswick Mines as Chief of Security. Besides his mother of Bathurst, he is survived by: His wife, Claudette (Landry) Kenny. One son: Carl Kenny (Tracie) of Bathurst Two daughters: Lynn Harteveld (Richard) of Dalhousie Tanya Kenny (Clarence Brideau) of Bathurst One sister: Betty Smyth of Bathurst Four grandchildren, Jason, Amy, Eric and Melanie. Several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by three brothers; Albert, Allen and Raymond. The family will receive relatives and friends after 2:00 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon (August 23, 2005) at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday from 2 t 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from noon till time of Funeral.
