Middle River - Dennis Christie, 63, of Middle River and formerly of Orangeville, ON, passed away on Friday (September 23, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Winnipeg, MA, he was the son of the late Wilford and Shirley Christie. He was a former Vehicle Inspection Officer for the Ontario Minister of Transportation for 34 years. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his spouse, Geraldine Chiasson. Two daughters; Keri Ann Allen (Steve) of Brampton, ON Roberta Feghali (Elias) of Windsor, ON Four granddaughters and one grandson. He was pre-deceased by two brothers; Gary and David. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday (September 27, 2005) at 2:00 p.m. from St. George's Anglican Church, King Ave. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
