Big River - Robert Samuel Gammon, 69,of Big River, passed away peacefully on Thursday (September 22, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Bathurst, he was the youngest son of the late Cecil and Nellie (Sanson) Gammon He will be sadly missed by his wife, Janette (Selig) Gammon. Five children: Daughters: Darlene (Stephen) Carey and Cathy (Michael) Jennings, both of Bathurst Sons: Blair Gammon of Bathurst Cecil Gammon (Stella) of Bridgewater, NS and Paul Gammon (Treena) of Bathurst Six grandchildren; Shauna, Travis, Olivia, Stephanie, Mitchel and Jaden. Two brothers: Clarrence Gammon (Bette) of Bathurst William Gammon (Denny) of Titusville, Florida Three sisters: June McKenzie of Point LaNim Helen Cooper (Peter) of Barrie ON Mary Gammon of Bathurst Sister-in-law: Gladys Gammon of Bathurst Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by brothers; Harry, Ernest and a sister, Lilian Rezansoff. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are welcome to a graveside service, which will be held on Monday (September 26, 2005) at 2 pm from the United Cemetery, Bridge St., Bathurst.
