Janeville - Mrs. Doris Coombs, 44, wife of Jerry Coombs, of Janeville, died Wednesday (September 24, 2003) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of Merven and Doreen (Summers) Smith. She owned and operated "Doris Fish Shop" in Salmon Beach. She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Lyndal Jagoe. Besides her parents of Canobie, she is survived by her husband, Jerry Coombs. 1 Son: Christopher Jagoe (Glenda Morrison) of Canobie 1 Daughter: Larissa Coombs at home 2 Half-brothers: Grant Smith (Mildred) of Bathurst Robert Smith (Grace) of Stonehaven 1 Sister: Jane Jagoe (Kerry) of Canobie 1 Half-sister: Heather McGuire (Dave) of Springfield, NB 2 Grandchildren; Jordan and Jered Several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. The body will rest after 7 p.m. Thursday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday afternoon (September 27, 2003) at 2:00 p.m. from Central United Church, Clifton. Burial will be in the Spruce Grove Union Cemetery, Bathurst.
