It is with deep sadness, the family of Nicole Doucet of King Ave., announce her passing which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022, at the age of 56.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the Émile and Simonne (Doucet) Doucet. Nicole is survived by her common-law partner, Alain Godin; her son, Guy Doucet (Vanessa Thériault); her grandsons: Lorik and Liam, all of Bathurst.

She also leaves to mourn her brothers: Michel of Toronto, ON, Émilien, Roger (Sylvia Dunn), Jean-Pierre (Tammy Dugas) and Denis, all of Bathurst. Her sisters: Shirley MacDonnell (Leo James) and Carole Doucet, all of Bathurst. As well as many nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday September 14, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst. 

In memory of Nicole, donations maybe made to the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation for the Palliative Care Unit.

The family wishes to extent their sincere gratitude to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital for the compassionate care given to Nicole and her family.
