It is with great sadness the family of Roland LeBlanc, husband of Chantal Godin-LeBlanc, of Pointe-Verte and formerly of Bathurst, announce his passing which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on Friday, February 25th, 2022, at the age of 54.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of Louise (Girouard) LeBlanc and the late Pierre LeBlanc.
Besides his loving wife, Chantal of Pointe-Verte and his wonderful mother, Louise of Bathurst, he is survived by his brothers: John (Sonia Ahier) of Bathurst, Lewis (Doreen Bourgeois) of St-Anselme, Marc (Suzanne Albert) of Moncton, his twin, Ronald (Mélanie Dupuis) and Guy (Heather Manning) both of Bathurst. Several nieces and nephews, his Goddaughter, Sylvie LeBlanc and Godson, Caleb LeBlanc
He is also survived by his in-laws: Rodolphe and Francine Godin as well as many friends.
Besides his father, he was pre-deceased by a brother, Paul.
Roland was a kind, caring, generous, and respectful man. He was a hard worker who loved spending time with his family and friends. He was always willing to help those in need, whether it was to help put up Christmas lights, mow the lawn for his father, help his mother in the kitchen, help his brothers with their projects, opening the car door or giving flowers to his wife, helping his mother-in-law sweep the floor or talking or joking with his father-in-law for hours, Roland was there. He had a “joie de vivre”, loved to laugh and making others laugh.
Roland was a hard worker, having worked for many years at Jean Coutu in Bathurst, at GNC and Nectar Restaurant (the family business) where he made many friends.
Roland was a loving and attentive husband. He was greatly loved by his family and friends. He will never be forgotten and always in our hearts.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Chaleur Regional Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit for their care and support.
