Mrs. May Good, 76, wife of the late Percy W. Good, of Basin St., Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday (November 8, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Dalhousie Junction, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Jane (Hottot) Good. She was an amazingly strong women with a tremendous spirit of volunteerism. She was a member of the Anglican Church Women, Ladies Auxilliary of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst, and the Canadian Red Cross. Always the entrepreneur, she owned and operated several businesses including a care home. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Percy W. Good in 1968. A wonderful mother & grandmother, she will be lovingly remembered by: Daughters: Kathleen Cole (Wayne) of Big River Peggy Dugas (Pete) of Stirling, ON Bonnie Vienneau (Danny) of Rough Waters Holly Hyslop (Will) of Fredericton, NB Sons: John Good (Bonnie) of McKerrow, ON Danny Good (Line) of Bathurst Timmy Good (Pat) of Ottawa, ON Blair Good (Ellen) of Bathurst Fifteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Three brothers: Arnold Good (Phyllis) of Fredericton, NB Eldon Good (Rita) of Dalhousie, NB Francis Good (Liz) of Brechin, ON She was pre-deceased by two sisters, Muriel & Annie, a brother, Eddy and a grandson, Rick. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral service will be held on Friday afternoon (November 11, 2005) at 4:00 p.m. from St. George's Anglican Church, King Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the Spruce Grove Union Cemetery, Bridge St., Bathurst. Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
