Bathurst - Mrs. Amanda Glazier, 85, wife of the late Romeo Glazier, formerly of Church St., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday (November 9, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Telesphore and Joséphine (Boudreau) Duguay.
In her young age, she worked for the former W.J. Kent Co. (at the Capitol Theater).
She is survived by:
One brother: Aurèle Duguay (Mary) of Hamilton, ON
Three sisters: Lea Duguay of Bathurst, Yvonne Gaudet (late Alonzo) formerly of Moncton now residing in Montreal, Que. Elizabeth Roy (late Normand) of London, ON
Brother-in-law: Arthur Glazier (Evelyn)
Three sisters-in-law: Blanche Duguay (late Hector), Alice Duguay (late Adrien) and Clara Glazier (late Gilbert)
Many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by four brothers, Leonard, Napoléon, Hector, Adrien and a sister Blanche.
The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday afternoon (November 12, 2005) at 1:30 p.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, King Ave. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. till time of Funeral.
