Bathurst - It is with great sadness the family of Adrien Boucher, husband of the late Dora Isabelle (Couture) Boucher of St. Mary’s Avenue Bathurst, announce his passing which occurred Sunday May 1st, 2022, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 83.
Born in Bathurst he was the son of the late Frank and Béatrice (Couture) Boucher.
Adrien worked for the City of Bathurst for over 32 years.
He is survived by his children: Claude Boucher (Claudette Bujold), Lisa Lavigne (William) both of Bathurst and Linda Boudreau (Jean-Claude) of Dunlop.
Grandchildren: Jean-Luc, Caroline, Danny and Bruce and one great-granddaughter, Alivia-Diane.
Two brothers: Donald Boucher (Marie-May) and Armand Boucher (late Colette) both of Bathurst.
Two sisters: Catherine Henry (Ronald) and Jeannine Frenette (late Rosaire) both of Bathurst.
Many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers: Roger, Raymond, Théodore, Howard and his sisters: Jeanne d’Arc and Irène.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 5th, 2022, at 4 p.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Donations in memory of Adrien may be made to the Lung Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
