Salmon Beach - Burton Eddy, 61, of Salmon Beach, died Sunday at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a fight with cancer. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Cecil and Hazel (McConnel) Eddy. He was a farmer and fisherman all his life and will be missed at Miller Book Warf. He is survived by: A sister: Shirley Eddy of Beresford Several cousins from Miscou and Jacquet River. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday afternoon (September 30, 2003) at 2:00 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the St. Alban's Anglican Cemetery, Bridge St. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Diabetes Association or a favorite charity.
