Bathurst -Leo Frenette, 70, of Highland Ave., Bathurst, passed away at his residence on Thursday, December 1, 2005.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Leo and Stella (Gallant) Frenette.
Early in his career he worked for the local paper mill for 10 years and later worked for Brunswick Mines for 1 year before beginning his Teaching career at Bathurst High School where he taught for 31 years. He was a member of the New Brunswick Retired Teachers Association, former Grand Knight of the 3rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus, Bathurst Council 1935 and the 4th Degree member of Msgr. Wheten Knight of Columbus, Bathurst Assembly 0605. He was a member of the Vocational Curriculum Development Committee for 15 years, a Scout Master for many years, served on the Our Lady of the Rosary Parish Council for several years.
He was the beloved husband of Marie (Arsenault) Frenette and is survived by:

Four grandchildren, Claire, Danielle, Pierre-Luc and Geneviève.
Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a sister, Melva Guignard and a brother, Kevin.
The body will rest after 2:00 pm. Sunday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday afternoon (December 5, 2005) at 4:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from 2:00 p.m. till time of Funeral.
