Bathurst - Mrs. Thelma Larkin, wife of the late Frank Larkin, of James St., Bathurst and formerly of Toronto, passed away on Thursday (January 12, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Toronto, she was the daughter of the late William and Martha (Edgar) Thompson. She was a former employee of Sears Canada in Toronto. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Frank Larkin, in 1990. She was the loving mother to Nancy Lanteigne (Charles) of North Tetagouche, NB Dear grandmother of Ryan and Jennifer. Much loved aunt of Gayle Thompson of Toronto. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Memorial Service will be held on Monday afternoon (January 16, 2006) at 2:00 p.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Keith Adams officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Family Cemetery, Bathurst. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.
