Bathurst - Josephine Godin, of Beresford passed away on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 82.

Josephine was the daughter of the late Edward and Irene (Pitre) Godin.

She is survived by her daughter Sandra (Kevin) Boucher and her sons Steve, Joe (Mirjam)and Bob. Beloved Grandmother to Krissy, Kaye-Lynn, Chelsea, Cody, Justine, Jamie, Kierstin, Kylie. Great grandmother to Jack, Claire, Matthew, Deion, Lilly, Echo, Myah, Connor, Callan, Tristan, Joey, Jason and Lucas. A special Thank You to her sister Simone Frenette for all the thoughtful visits.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughter Kelly Ann Gulley.

Our beloved mother Josephine, will always be remembered as a survivor to her children. She worked tirelessly to raise 4 children alone and endured many struggles. She valued her privacy in her golden years and she was loved by her children more than she will ever know.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 14th at 11 a.m. from St. Thérèse d'Avila Church in Robertville.

Donations in memory of Josephine may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford.
