It is with great sadness that we, the family, wish to inform you of the death of our mother, Mrs. Jocelyne White, which occurred on Wednesday May 3, 2023 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst. She was 80 years old.
Originally from Ontario, Jocelyne came to live in the Bathurst and Robertville area after marrying Dr. Robert J. White in the early 1970s.
She is survived by her two daughters: Allison (Éric Lagacé) and Jennifer (Philippe Plante) as well as her three granddaughters whom she loved dearly: Émilie Lagacé (Luc Melanson) of Moncton, Gabrielle and Ève Diab of Montreal and their father Gligor Diab.
She is survived by two sisters: Nicole Pointon (Tim), Anne Rey and eight brothers: Gilbert (Wendy), Jérôme (Cathy), Jean-Marc (Carleen), André (Theresa), Claude (Marie), Luc (Georgette), Denis (Marleen), Paul (Judy).
Deeply saddened by her passing are the members of the White family: Claude (Jeannette), Gerald (Louise), Denise (Charles Hachey) and Ginette (Gary deceased in 2004) as well as many nieces and nephews of the Dupuis and White families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents: Pauline Langlois and Roland Dupuis, her parents-in-law: Isabelle Doucet and Lawrence White and her sister-in-law Jeannine White (deceased in 2022).
In memory of Jocelyn, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or any other charity of your choice would be appreciated.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Home in Beresford on Monday May 8th from 2 p.m. until the time of Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 4 p.m. at the Sainte Thérèse-d’Avila Church in Robertville.
