Petit-Rocher - It is with a heart full of sadness that the family announce the passing of Mrs. Frédonia “Donie” (Allain) Boudreau of Petit-Rocher, on Monday, May 22, at the age of 85 years at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst.

She is survived by her husband, Fernand and her six children: Rachel Boudreau-Collin, Jean-Guy, Yolande Henry, Gisèle, Nicole and Gilles.

She is also survived by ten grandchildren Nathalie, Christian, Josée, Caroline, Philippe, Stéphane, Sébastien, Rebecca, Jonathan, and Emily, as well as several great grandchildren: Talitha, David Étienne, Caleb, Sky, Alexandre, Kaylie, Crystal, Sophie, James, Lili-Pier, Mathias, Loïk, Oliver Finn and Theodore Rex.

Five brothers: Eudore, Lévis, Roderick, Jean-Claude and Daniel Landry and six sisters: Bernise Pitre, Léonie Landry, Florence Allain, Rolande Allain, Jeannette Allain and Alexina Allain.

Several nieces and nephews.

She rests in peace in heaven with her mother Alvina Comeau Allain (originally from Tracadie Sheila), her father Rodrique Allain (originally from Petit-Rocher); her brothers: Yvon, Lévis and Roger; and her sisters: Églantine Comeau, Cécile Clark, Simone McDermaid and Isabelle Luce.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton’s Funeral Chapel (www.elhatton.com) in Bathurst on Wednesday, May 31st, from 12 noon until a farewell service will be held at 2 p.m., followed by a reception with the family. In memory of Frédonia, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
