Sainte-Anne, Glou. Co., NB – Dorothee Drysdale, wife of the late Wayne Drysdale of Sainte-Anne, Gloucester Co., passed away on Monday, July 3rd at her residence at the age of 78.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Adee (Ferguson) Chiasson.
She is survived by six children: Sharon Boudreau (late Gordon) and Judy Drysdale (Francois Hachey) both of Sainte-Anne, Cheryl Drysdale Dorey (Andrew), Wayne Drysdale Junior, Deborah Martin (Carl) and Jean Drysdale Hachey (Frederick) all of Bathurst.
Eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Sisters: Ruthy Robbins, Simonne Lamont, Elaine Furlotte (Pat) and Janet Lockhart all of Bathurst, Linda Chiasson (Léo Haché) of Beresford and Veronica Spencer of North Bay.
Brothers: Gordie and Jimmy, both of Bathurst.
Several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and spouse, she was pre-deceased by a grandson, Lee and brothers: Carl and Terry.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 12th, 2023 at 2 p.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Dorothee may be made to the Extra Mural Program or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
