It is with heavy hearts, that we the family of Leo Gamache, wish to announce his passing which occurred on Thursday July 13, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, surrounded by his family, just days shy of his 70th birthday.

Born in Bathurst, NB, he was the son of the late Delima (Chamberlain) and Gilles Gamache.

Leo is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pauline and children: Theresa (Charlie Vermette), Gilles (Lisa) of Bathurst, Melanie and Stephanie of Ontario.

Leo is survived and will be greatly missed by his Grandkids and great grandsons: Samantha, Alyssa, Kayla, Isaiah, Jenna, Furious, Brayden, Pauline, Ares, Joel, Levi, Matthew, Patrick, Priscilla and Ethan.

Leo is survived and will be greatly missed by his brothers: Roger (Anne) of Bathurst, Gerard (Halina) of Sudbury, ON, Alcide, Eugene (Louise) and sister Monique Laffoley (Donald) of Bathurst.

In addition to his parents, Leo was predeceased by brother Yvon at a young age.

Leo also leaves behind many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. We would like to send a special thanks to Denise Doucet and Brian Crandall for all the care they provide for our father.

We would like to thank the RN from the ICU Chantal Babineau for the love and care she provided for our father.

Leo will also be miss by his dear dog Bella.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 25th, 2023, at 2 p.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst.
