It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Leon Nowlan, which occurred on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 at the Villa Sormany at the age of 78.

Born Duguayville, he was the son of the late John and Evelyne (LeBreton) Nowlan.

He leaves behind his three sisters: Evelyne Laurette, Irene Robichaud and Armandine Nowlan (Willard) all of Bathurst.

One brother: Arthur Nowlan (Rachel) of Robertville.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by siblings: John Clifford, Amanda, Geraldine, Alexford (in infancy).

The family would like to thank the staff at the Chaleur Regional Hospital and the Villa Sormany for all the care and compassion they gave to Leon.

There will be a private graveside service held at a later date.

Donations in memory of Leon may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
