Hermenegilde Sauveur, 88, of Bathurst, passed away on February 4, 2006, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
He served in World War II with the North Shore Regiment of the Royal Canadian Army.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family
He is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was pre-deceased by a son, Hermenegilde Sauveur Jr.
The body will rest on Friday (March 3, 2006) at Elhatton`s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathust, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (March 4, 2006) at 11:00 a.m. from St. John the Evangelist Church, Belledune. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
A Legion Service will be held from the Funeral Home on Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
