It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Roger Pitre, also known as Rosie, husband to the late Bertha Pitre. Which occurred at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the age of 73.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late James and Marie Alice (Arseneau) Pitre.

He leaves behind his children Diane Pitre (Sterling Pursey) and Jean-Claude Pitre (Jenn Jones) both of Bathurst. One granddaughter, Jasmine Pitre of Bathurst.

His two sisters Annette (John Taylor), Simonne (Albenie) Gauthier and brother Gerard (Susan) Pitre all of Bathurst.

As per his wishes there will be no visitation or funeral.

Donations in memory of Roger may be made to Parkinson’s Canada or a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst (www.elhatton.com).
