It is with sadness that we the family announce the death of Alfred “Fred” Hudon, spouse of Wilma Dempsey, on November 21, 2023 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst after a brief illness at the age of 87.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Theofred and Violet (Gray) Hudon.

Fred was well known in this area for his expertise in security systems and being the author of three books.

Fred is survived by sons; Brad, Cloyd and Bill; a daughter Lally and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

His sisters; Eleonor, Marie and Lillian and a brother Oscar.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Romeo, Isabelle, Noella, William, Carmella, Evangeline, Ann and Donald.

As per his request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
