Rio Grande – Léo Ferron, husband to Angela (Bertin) Ferron of Rio Grande, passed away at the age of 65, on Saturday November 25, 2023, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Robertville, he was the son of the late Victorien and Marguerite (Vienneau) Ferron.

Besides his wife, he is survived by:

Two sons: Jeffery (Rebecca) of Alberta and Ricky of Bathurst.

Three stepsons: Reno Doucet of Moncton, Martin Doucet (Karine) and Marc-André Doucet both of Dieppe.

Three grandchildren: Noah, Vincent and Christy Lynn.

A step granddaughter: Aria Maude.

Three sisters: Bernadette Barthelotte (Maurice) of North Tetagouche, Dianne Ferron (Mario Mallet) of Rio Grande, and Lise Frenette of Fredericton.

One brother: Marco (Linda) of Beresford.

Several nieces, nephews; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Bernard.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 2 p.m. from Église Sainte-Thérèse-d’Avila, Robertville.
