Bathurst – Mrs. Majella Haché, wife of the late Cléophas Haché, formerly of West Bathurst, passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, on Wednesday November 29, 2023, at the age of 81.

Born in Bas-Caraquet, she was the daughter of the late Jean–Eudes Poirier and the late Diana (Friolet)Poirier.

She is survived by three children: Pierre (Nancy Grant) of Robertville, Elaine Benoit (Gaetan) of Fredericton and Eric (Chantal) of Dieppe.

Seven grandchildren: Émilie, Janie, Frédéric, Kevin, Maryse, Melissa and Danika.

Great-grandchildren: Emmanuel, Alexi, Rosalie and Benjamin.

Her siblings: Bertha, Raymond, Blanche (Paul-Emile) Hélène, Gisèle (Yvon) and Jacques (Marie-Lyne), all of Caraquet.

Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive family and friends at Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 10a.m. until the funeral service which will take place at 11 a.m.

In memory of Majella a donation to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
