Chamberlain Settlement - Mrs. Helene Pitre, 95, wife of the late Clarence J. Pitre, of Chamberlain Settlement, passed away on Sunday (March 5, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Lameque, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Malvina (Noel) Ross. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Clarence J. Pitre, in 2000. She was the last member of her immediate family. She is survived by: Three sons: Edward Pitre (Shirley) of Rough Waters Laurier Pitre (Janet) of Moncton Jean Claude Pitre, of Chamberlain Settelement One daughter: Hilda Stolleker (Bruce) of Montreal, Que. 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, Michael, in 1976. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (March 8, 2006) at 10:00 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St. Burial will be in the Mount Carmel Cemetery, East Bathurst.
