Bathurst – We, the family, are so very sad to announce the passing of a wonderful man, Patrick Hennessy, of Hennessy St., Bathurst, which occurred Friday December 29, 2023, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 77. He was a kind and compassionate person.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late James and Frances (Garrett) Hennessy.

He leaves to grieve his wife and companion of 50 years, Monique (Noël) Hennessy.

A son, Philip of Bathurst and a daughter, Rachel Hennessy of Vancouver, BC.

His sister, Nancy Lynch of Prince George, BC.

Several nieces and nephews.

Paddy was a loving husband and father and a positive presence in our lives to the end. He was very proud of his 30-year career with Brunswick Mines and spoke often of his experiences there.

As per his wishes, there will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A ceremony to honor his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home, (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst.

We will forever remember his fabulous smile and the twinkle in his eye.
