Bathurst – It is with sadness that we the family announce the sudden death of Michael Lavigne, of Bathurst, which occurred Thursday January 4, 2024, at the age of 57.

Born in Bathurst he was the son of the late Charles Jr. Lavigne and the late Rita (Imbeault) Lavigne.

He leaves behind his two beloved daughters Samatha (Steven)and Julie (Kris) also his two grandchildren that he adored, Charles and Isabelle all from Moncton.

A Brother Steven (Colleen) from Bathurst.

His godmother Anne Marie (Imbeault) Plourde from Allardville, his godfather Leonard Imbeault from Bathurst and his godchild Pierre Luc Plourde from Moncton.

Many aunts, uncles and friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton’s Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, on Friday January 12, 2024, after 1:00 pm where the funeral will be held at 2:00 pm.   Donations in memory of Michael can be made to the SPCA or a favorite charity.
