It is with sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Judith (Duguay) Boucher, wife of the late Anthony Boucher, which occurred at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes on Monday, January 29, 2024, at the age of 86.
Born in Saint-Sauveur, formerly of Rough Waters, she was the daughter of the late Peter Duguay and Lydia Bulger.
She leaves behind her children: Wayne Boucher (Diane Le Cocq) of Petit-Rocher and Judyann Boucher (Louis Bourget) of Halifax, NS.
Her grandchild: Amanda Boucher Phillips and great-grandson, Anthony Boucher.
Her Brothers: Roméo (Georgette) of Saint-Sauveur, Simon (late Réjeanne) of Allardville, Pierre (Albertine) of Lévis, Qc., and Paul-Renaud (Sylvie) of Tracadie.
Her sisters: Ernestine Leclerc (late Alphonse), Lydia Paulin (late Gérald), Éxilia Gallant (late Léonard) all of Allardville, and Anne-Marie Boudreau (Lucien) of Saint-Sauveur.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her grandchild Cory Boucher and her sibling Léandre, Léo, Étienne, Henri-Paul, Gérald, Gérard and Albert.
A funeral service will be held on Friday April 26 at 2 p.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Judith may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or a charity of the donor’s choice.
