Beresford - Michel Boudreau, husband of Dorothy "Dot" (Hannan) Boudreau, of Beresford, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 83.
Born in Petit-Rocher, he was the son of the late Antoine and Emilie (Roy) Boudreau.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two children: Denis (Joceline Maillet) of Dunlop and Monique Boudreau (David Lavigne) of Petit-Rocher.
Three grandchildren whom he adored with all his heart: Antony, Mia et Jacob (and Jacob father, Anger Dumont).
Two brothers: Daniel Boudreau (late Raymonde) of Montréal, QC and Emile Boudreau (Juliette) of Ottawa, ON.
Three sisters: Alvine Boudreau (late Ronald) of Dieppe, Philo Gallant (Allison) of Riverview, NB and Gisèle Boudreau (Claude Rosa) of Lévis, QC.
Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by two brothers: Roger, Aldophe and a sister, Juliette.
Michel worked as a welder with Local 73 up until his retirement in 2002 and was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Petit-Rocher.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday April 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. from Église St-Polycarpe, Petit-Rocher. Donations in memory of Michel, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
